After conducting a consultancy on the Oracle Database engine and another one on Information Security, some inconsistencies were detected, giving rise to recommendations to improve the Data Center infrastructure. The main objective was to incorporate new technology to respond to business needs and ensure their operations.
Tux offered its associated professional services for the implementation and start-up of an updated hardware infrastructure for the Data Center, along with the implementation of a new version of the database engine. A storage system was also implemented to consolidate storage and allow for scalability in line with current and future capacity demands.
The client achieved improved task execution performance, as the obtained hardware has better processing resources. The new database software offers them greater flexibility and the ability to adequately respond to future challenges that require the implementation of new virtual environments.
In addition, the client eliminated the risks posed by the previous platform, which was already out of active support and had failures in some of its physical components. The business now benefits from a higher degree of confidence and availability.
