Cooperativa Eléctrica Limitada de Pergamino

Since 1939, the Cooperativa Eléctrica Limitada de Pergamino began providing services, launching its own generating plant. The Cooperative was consolidated in pace with the growth of the community, seeking to implement more services to improve the quality of life of its members.

BUSINESS NEED

“Basically, CELP’s email provider was from a local company within the cooperative and obviously they do not have a corporate system, so there was a lot of spam, or messages did not arrive, there were sending limits, it could not be configured on mobile devices. It was a personal service that was not up to the organization’s standards.”

SOLUTION

Tux proposed migrating the client’s public DNS services to Cloudflare and the email service to Microsoft Exchange Online. Taking into account that the client’s budget was limited and the initial needs could be met with a product with all the security, availability, and centralized administration advantages of Exchange Online but with some limitations. The client was offered to acquire Exchange Kiosk licenses for its general users, and for specific users with specific and more complex space and functionality needs, to acquire Exchange Plan 1 licenses with Office 365 for their workstations.

“The migration was very positive because it allowed us to have features such as the fact that we can open email from anywhere, we obtained greater email security, spam ended. Now we can be sure that emails arrive at their destination and securely. We can trust this email provider.”

WHY DID THEY CHOOSE TUX?

“The idea was to hire a corporate email service and Tux is a Microsoft partner and also at that time we were quoting some office accounts and took the opportunity to regularize all services. We requested a quote from 3 referenced Microsoft partners and we decided on Tux.”

-Guillermo García – Head of Systems
